Nineteen Fifty-Five Solution

Author: Chris King

The six answers in this round, matched with their colors, were:

COMIC STRIP
TWO
PLAYING CARDS
HELL
ALDRIN
FORT SUMTER

It is clear that these answers will not fit in the grid with the rules given. With this round's theme being the Enchantment Under the Sea dance, and the grid looking like a dance floor, the idea of dances can be created.

Each of the answers can be associated with a common form of dance:

COMIC STRIP → FOXTROT (FoxTrot is a comic strip created by Bill Amend)
TWO → TANGO (from the saying "It takes two to tango.")
PLAYING CARDS → SHUFFLE (you shuffle a deck of cards)
HELL → LIMBO (in the Catholic faith, Limbo is one of the parts of hell)
ALDRIN → MOONWALK (Buzz Aldrin was one of the first men to walk on the moon)
FORT SUMTER → CHARLESTON (Fort Sumter lies in Charleston Harbor)

These dances fit nicely into the grid given, with one unique solution:

The circles in the grid spell out, from left to right and top to bottom, this puzzle's answer: MACARENA OF TIME, showing that Link from the Legend of Zelda series is this round's time traveler—his Ocarina of Time has now changed in a dance, the Macarena, meaning that the Hero of Time has been caught.
